Kaleidoscope is a 16-week youth Skills Link program, located in Richmond, to assist priority youth to overcome employment barriers that prevent them from making successful transitions to sustainable employment.
Kaleidoscope is hiring 15 youth to participate in a program that combines work and learning to build employability and media production skills. Successful applicants will experience a combination of workshops, experiential learning, individual and group projects all geared towards finding more confidence and a higher chance of success in further employment.
Youth earn $10.25/hr for 30 hours a week to find a better connection to the world of work while earning a strong employment reference. Learning technical skills in digital filmmaking and editing are also part of the experience. And finally, an 8 week internship to close the program helps participants practice their new skills in real work environments.
